I’m writing to you about how we can support our mutual friend, Richard Tisei, who’s running for Congress in Massachusetts’ 6th Congressional District. Watching this race since last November has been exciting to me and I really believe Richard is exactly the right kind of leader we should send to Washington this November.

He’s been positive with a vision of how to get our country back on track – something we must do. I’ve noticed that Richard’s opponent has recently had more than his share of difficulties – and that he blames Richard! And I’ve seen him saying that Richard supports an “extreme agenda” and marches in “lock-step” with various people.

My first reaction is to laugh.

Richard’s opponent ought to be able to run on his own record – rather than throw mud. Besides, anyone who knows Richard knows that he marches to his own drummer. I certainly do! Richard has integrity – and the voters know it.

We have the right candidate to win. Last week’s Boston Globe poll has Richard up by 6 points, but he still needs our help to get his message out to all of the voters in the 6th Congressional District.
